Bear Aware Safety | $99 + GST

Course Overview:

What should you do if you see a bear? What is the difference between a Black and a Grizzly bear? What does a bear safe campsite look like? Whether working or playing in the outdoors, so many activities take place in bear country.

Learning what you need to know, from the basics of bear safety and knowledge, to using bear defense equipment will make you much safer. This course explains in detail what you need to know through classroom and hands-on practice. Make certain you have a good understanding of bear safety and are able to travel safely in bear country and stay safe in the event of an encounter.


It is recommended that participants are 19 years or older.  Please contact us if there is a minor wanting to participate.

Everyone will be sent a waiver that must be signed prior to the start of the class.
