Advanced Cycling and Race Preparation | $295 + GST

Course Overview:

Want to ride faster? Beat a personal best? Join Dylan Bailey, elite cyclist and trainer, for a fun-filled, two month advanced cycling course! Dylan has over 20 years racing experience, has competed at the Elite & Pro level for the Canada Cup Circuit, and placed 1st at the Masters National Championships in Canmore.

This course is suitable for all cyclists, whether you prefer XC mountain biking, road riding, enduro or anything in between. Dylan will cover topics such as heart rate zones, race preparation, nutrition and training plans during classroom sessions, and then take you outdoors for fun and challenging training and conditioning activities. Students are required to have intermediate to advanced bike handling and an average to high fitness level.

Outdoor sessions will include:
. Cycling (on indoor bike trainers & outside depending on weather conditions)
. Cycling specific strength training
. Foam rolling and stretching techniques
. Cross-country skiing and/or snowshoeing
. A Fatbike race at Nipika! (subject to equipment availability and student interest)



Equipment Requirements: Students will be required to bring water bottle, heart rate monitors, bike & bike trainers for some sessions (trainers and monitors may be rented). Please dress for cycling and strength training.
