Basic Self Defense | $49 + GST

Course Overview:

Self defense is one of the most basic rights that humans possess.  By being able to protect ourselves from harm, we can more confidently move through the world and begin to leave behind the insecurities that can isolate us from others.  This introductory course will explore basic physical skills and conceptual approaches that can help us survive and escape physical danger.  The ethics and psychology of violence will also be explored in a practical manner.  Though we will be "getting physical", the aim of the course is to be accessible and useful for all fitness levels and body types. 

Requirements:

Dress in comfortable clothing that will allow a full range of movement, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
